Ingredients
  

  • 4 larges skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 4 Tbsp butter, melted
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 (10.5-oz) Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 1 (5-oz) Texas Toast garlic croutons, crushed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
  • Melt butter in casserole dish. Add the chicken to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Layer 2 cheese slices on top of each breast.
  • In a medium bowl, add the soup and the chicken broth, season with salt and pepper and pour over the cheese. Sprinkle croutons on top and spray with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve.

Notes

  • Tip 1: You can use any cut of chicken that you enjoy; just adjust the cooking time to ensure an internal temperature of 165ºF.
  • Tip 2: I suggest using Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup to control the sodium levels in this dish.
  • Tip 3: You can assemble the casserole ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.
