Ingredients
  

  • 4 6-ounce salmon fillets skin on
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Large pinch ground ginger or to taste

Instructions
 

  • Mix maple syrup, soy sauce, and ginger in a baking dish. Dip each side of the salmon fillets in the marinade, then let sit, skin side down, for about twenty minutes.
  • Turn on the broiler. Spoon a bit more of the marinade over the salmon then place four to five inches under the broiler element.
  • Cook to your desired doneness, about ten to fifteen minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets.
  • Remove from oven and spoon some of the syrupy marinade from the pan over the salmon before serving.
