Equipment

  • Wooden Spoon
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Chef's Knife

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Neufchatel Cheese low fat cream cheese
  • 2 cans Chicken drained; I used Kirkland Signature
  • 5 oz Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Frank's Red Hot divided
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • to taste Chopped Fresh Chives optional

Instructions

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. You'll need Neufchatel cheese, drained chicken, Greek yogurt, hot sauce, onion powder, salt, pepper, blue cheese crumbles, and chives. Make sure everything is ready to go!
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the Neufchatel cheese, drained chicken, and Greek yogurt. Use a stand mixer or a fork to mix everything together until it’s combined and creamy. Look for a smooth consistency where no lumps remain.
  • Next, pour in 1/4 cup of Frank's Red Hot, the onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix again until everything is evenly distributed. You want to see that vibrant color from the hot sauce throughout the mixture.
  • Once combined, taste the mixture. Adjust the seasoning if necessary, perhaps adding a little more hot sauce or salt as per your liking.
  • Transfer the dip into a serving bowl. Make sure to use a spatula to get every last bit of that creamy goodness out!
  • Now comes the fun part! Top the dip with blue cheese crumbles and, if desired, drizzle with more hot sauce. This not only adds flavor but also makes it visually appealing.
  • Garnish with chopped chives for that fresh touch and an extra layer of flavor. This step is optional but highly recommended for that added crunch and color.
  • Serve your Macro Friendly Buffalo Chicken Dip warm. It pairs beautifully with crackers, celery sticks, or even fresh veggies.
  • As your friends dig in, enjoy their reactions! There’s nothing quite like seeing people enjoy something you’ve made with love.
