Ingredients

  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine the water, honey, and dried lavender. Stir gently to dissolve the honey.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for about one minute, stirring frequently.
  • Turn off the heat and let the lavender steep for 30 to 60 minutes for maximum flavor.
  • Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a storage jar.
  • Store the syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
