Equipment

  • Kitchen Knife
  • Cutting Board

Ingredients

  • ½ cup candy sprinkles
  • ½ cup crushed candy canes
  • ¼ cup cinnamon to sprinkle on top
  • ½ cup soft caramel balls
  • ½ cup toffee bits
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup
  • 15 Pirouettes, any flavor
  • 15 graham cracker crumbs
  • 10 Andes Mints
  • 10 snack size Hershey candy bars
  • 10 Mini Reese's
  • 10 Candy Cane Kisses
  • 10 Hershey Kiss Hugs
  • 10 jumbo white marshmallows
  • 5 jumbo marshmallows, coated with hot chocolate powder
  • ½ cup miniature marshmallows
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup peanut butter chocolate chips
  • ½ cup dark chocolate morsels
  • 10 cups your favorite hot chocolate, hot and ready to serve

Instructions

  • Start by selecting a base for your board. A wooden cutting board or tray works wonderfully. If your tray is small, don’t worry! You can create two smaller boards or just set out what fits and refill as needed.
  • Next, prepare your ingredients. Place the candy sprinkles, ground cinnamon, toffee bits, soft caramel balls, chocolate syrup, and crushed graham crackers into separate small bowls. This not only keeps things organized but also makes it easy for guests to help themselves.
  • Now, it’s time to create focal points on your board. Place the bowl of toffee and the bowl of caramel in the center. Spread mini marshmallows around the bowls to add some charm and create a cozy feel.
  • Take your favorite mug of hot chocolate and set it in the top left corner of the board. This will serve as a lovely centerpiece and anchor the arrangement.
  • Position the cup of Pirouettes in the bottom right corner of the board, allowing guests to grab one easily while enjoying their hot chocolate.
  • For a delicious surprise, arrange Andes Mints under the bowl of toffee bits and place snack-size Hershey bars above the mini marshmallows next to your mug of hot chocolate.
  • Fill the lower left corner with coated jumbo marshmallows and position jumbo white marshmallows in the upper right corner of the board.
  • Continue filling spaces by adding Candy Cane Kisses and Mini Reese's on the left and Hershey Kiss Hugs to the right of the Hershey bars.
  • Complete your board by filling the right side with peanut butter chocolate chips, dark chocolate morsels, and white chocolate chips. This variety of chocolates will offer guests a range of flavors to enjoy.
  • Finally, arrange the cups of sprinkles, graham cracker crumbs, chocolate syrup, and cinnamon around the outside of the board. This adds a final touch, making it visually appealing and easily accessible.

Notes

  • Arranging the board: You can follow the steps to duplicate our board or arrange the items any way you wish.
  • Board: Any large board or tray will work. If you don’t have a larger board, simply set out what fits and refill the board as needed.
  • Make ahead: Gather all supplies well in advance, but don’t assemble the board until a couple of hours before setting it out. Keep the board covered with plastic wrap so that the marshmallows don’t dry out.
  • Store: leftover items in their original packaging, or into a Ziploc bag. Any leftover hot chocolate can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
