Notes

  • Tip 1: The original recipe used a 10-oz tub of Philadelphia Italian Cheese and Herb Cooking Creme.
  • Tip 2: The suggested substitute is 1 tub of whipped cream cheese, 2 Tbsp milk, and 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning.
  • Tip 3: 3 cups of cooked pasta is approximately 1 ½ cups uncooked penne pasta.
  • Tip 4: My favorite store-bought spaghetti sauces are Trader Joe’s Roasted Garlic Marinara, Rao’s, and La Famiglia DelGrosso.
  • Tip 5: You can assemble the casserole ahead of time and refrigerate overnight. Just add a few minutes to the cooking time.
  • Tip 6: If you are feeding a crowd, feel free to double the recipe.
