Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Butter Softened
  • 1 package Cream Cheese Softened (8 oz)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 large Egg Yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • Powdered Sugar For dusting

Instructions
 

  • 1. Lightly grease a cookie sheet and set it aside. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • 2. Add the butter, cream cheese, and sugar to a large mixing bowl and cream it together until light and fluffy.
  • 3. Add the egg yolk and vanilla and beat well until combined.
  • 4. Finally, add the flour and stir until it is well blended and forms a dough.
  • 5. Use a cookie scoop to scoop dough out, roll it into a ball, and place on the greased cookie sheet. Slightly pat down the tops for a uniform shape.
  • 6. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes. The cookies will be pale but firm.
  • 7. Once baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar on top.
