Ingredients
- 5 cakes Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes If using 3 oz size, 5 for the dip and 1 for garnish. If using 8.52 oz box: 2 boxes, use 9 of the 10 cakes, 8 for the dip, and 1 for garnish.
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz Cool Whip Whipped Topping thawed
- to taste Christmas tree sprinkles for garnish
Instructions
- Begin by placing your softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, beat it on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
- If using the 3 oz size Christmas Tree Cakes, add five of them into the bowl directly. Alternatively, if you're using the larger 8.52 oz boxes, add eight cakes from one box. Break them into smaller pieces as you add them to help with mixing.
- Pour in 1/4 cup of milk and add one teaspoon of vanilla extract into the bowl. Beat the mixture thoroughly until everything is well combined.
- Gently fold in 8 oz of Cool Whip whipped topping into the mixture. Use a spatula for this step to maintain the fluffiness of the Cool Whip.
- Once everything is combined, spoon the dip into a serving bowl. Cover with plastic wrap or a lid, and place it in the refrigerator to chill.
- When you're ready to serve your Christmas Tree Cake Dip, remove it from the fridge. Garnish with an additional Christmas tree cake on top and sprinkle some festive Christmas tree sprinkles for that extra touch.
